About the Role
A precision manufacturing companyis hiring a CNC Machinist to operate and monitor Swiss-style and Mill/Turn CNC lathes, producing high-quality precision parts. Multiple shifts available.
What You'll Do
- Operate CNC Swiss-style and Mill/Turn lathes to produce precision parts
- Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and GD&T requirements
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Monitor equipment for proper operation; elevate issues to set-up techs or supervisors
- Follow all quality standards, production procedures, and safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members and provide clear shift handoffs
What You'll Need
- Minimum 2 years of CNC operation experience; Swiss-style experience preferred
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, work instructions, and quality requirements
- Familiarity with measurement tools — calipers, micrometers, gauges
- Strong GD&T and math skills required
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks during a full shift
Shifts
- A-Shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM–3:00 PM
- C-Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM (10% premium, paid for 40 hours worked 36)
