Job description

SUMMARY

The CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC machines and ensuring machined parts meet quality, dimensional, and customer specifications. The position also performs grinding, assembly, soldering, and bonding tasks.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Maintains high-quality standards through precise measurements and adjustments to manufacturing processes.
  • Must be willing to learn multiple CNC machines and inspection stations.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workstation.
  • Willing to learn the manufacturing processes.
  • Meet standard production output requirements.
  • Implement continuous improvement ideas and suggestions and demonstrate support for the Continuous Improvement System.
  • Maintain and promote a safe working environment by following safety rules and policies. Also, maintain and promote 5S.
  • Contribute to the establishment of crucial quality systems.
  • Assist in the development of inspection systems and methods.
  • Effective teamwork and communication with fellow team members

The responsibilities of this role do not include supervising other employees.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS
  • ASTM F–2412–2005, ANSI Z41–1999, or ANSI Z41–1991 rated safety toe shoes in specific areas.
  • Clear ANSI Z87.1 safety-rated glasses in specific areas.
  • Hearing protection in specific locations.
  • Ability to compile with JSA in specific areas.
