PTS Advance is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to join a reputable organization specializing in Aerospace/Defense, Heavy Industrial, Medical, and Energy sectors.

Job Responsibilities:

• Program editing, loading, running, and performing full quality checks independently.
• Set up and operate CNC lathe machines.
• Adjust offsets to maintain tolerances as precise as .0001.
• Use and setup of precision measuring tools.
• Assist during prove outs and optimize feeds and speeds for autonomous operation.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Monitor machine performance attentively.
• Coordinate with shift operators and support staff to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement.

Job Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of CNC and Lathe experience preferred.
• Effective communication skills with supervisors, programmers, and team members.
• Knowledge of cutting tools and reading blueprints, programs, and sketches.
• Proficiency with precision measuring equipment.
