Job summary

Zing Recruiting is seeking experienced CNC Machinists to join a manufacturing team in Columbia City, Indiana. Multiple levels are available based on experience and skill level. Shifts include 1st and 2nd, with pay bands from $25–$39/hour depending on level.

Responsibilities include setting up and operating CNC mills/lathes, reading blueprints, tool selection, offsets, and tooling maintenance. Strong measurement skills and GD&T knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of machining experience preferred.
• Blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, grinders, and other machining equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, process prints, and setup sheets.
• Perform machine offsets and minor program adjustments.
• Select, maintain, and modify tooling as needed.
• Inspect parts using micrometers, bore gauges, and other measuring tools.
• Troubleshoot tooling and programming issues.
• Maintain production records and follow safety and Lean manufacturing practices.
• Assist with training other team members.

• CNC Machinist I — $25–$28/hour
• CNC Machinist II — $29–$34/hour
• CNC Machinist III — $35–$39/hour
