About Us

We are an aerospace component manufacturing company known for our complex machinery. We are growing, yet established and work with some of the biggest names in the aerospace and defense industries. Currently, we are hiring for a CNC Machinist in Canby, Oregon. This is a weekend shift, Friday through Sunday, working 12-hour shifts. We are hiring for both night and day shifts.

Job Details

• 2-5 years machining experience
• Machine parts according to current process router and work instructions
• Ability to use dimensional measuring tools including Micrometers, Calipers, Pin Gages, and Bore Gages
• Verify part conformance per work instructions and record required dimensions
• Set up recurring production parts on 3, 4, and 5-axis machine centers
• Monitor and adjust cutting tools. Replace worn tools and set/reset tool offsets
• Can dial in vices and indicate holes for validation or setup
• Set up and prove out new or existing CNC programs on 3, 4, and 5-axis machine centers
• Review new programs prior to start in CAD system or verification system (plus)
• Collaborate with programming & quality departments to resolve program issues
• Understanding of shop math skills such as Trigonometry, Metal removal calculations, Surface Speed calculations
• Proficiency in Blueprint reading and GD&T application (plus)
• Experience with probing and variable assignments (plus)
• Previous setup and prove out experience
• Advanced knowledge of G and M codes for CNC machines
• Ability to review part programs in CAD systems (plus)
