Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site CNC Machinist role based in Caldwell, TX. The CNC Machinist will set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings and work orders. Day-to-day responsibilities include selecting and installing tools, adjusting machine settings, performing basic programming edits, and verifying dimensions using measuring instruments. The role involves inspecting parts for quality, maintaining machinery in safe working condition, troubleshooting minor issues, and collaborating with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines. The CNC Machinist will also follow all safety protocols and contribute to a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in Machine Operation and Machinery, with the ability to safely set up, run, and shut down CNC equipment.
• Hands‑on experience in machining on CNC Lathes and Mills, including working from blueprints and using appropriate cutting tools and feeds/speeds.
• Strong Quality Control abilities, including accurate measurement, inspection, and documentation of finished parts.
• Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
• Familiarity with CNC controls and basic program adjustments or offsets is preferred.
• Ability to lift and handle materials safely and stand for extended periods in a shop environment.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with coworkers and supervisors.
• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school, apprenticeship, or prior CNC machining experience is highly beneficial.
