Mid Cal Labor in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join a busy shop with over 50 years in business. The successful candidate will set up and operate CNC equipment, read blueprints, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances across agricultural, oil, and food industries.

We offer day and night shifts (6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m.), competitive benefits, and salary negotiable based on experience. This is a long-term, full-time position in Bakersfield.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a CNC Machinist.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Knowledge and use of all precision measuring tools and instruments.
• Understanding of CNC programming languages and machine code offsets.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsabilidades

CNC Machinist needed for busy shop in Bakersfield, CA! This local company has been in business for over 50 years and is looking for a skilled machinist to join their team. This CNC Machinist will apply their knowledge to assist in the manufacturing of important parts and meet exact standards for various industries such as agriculture, oil and food production.

Job Functions

• Set up and calibrate machines, including installing tools, fixtures and materials required for the job
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Monitor production runs to ensure machines operate properly and parts are within tolerances
• Perform quality checks utilizing measuring tools
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and perform routine equipment maintenance

This is a long-term, full-time position in Bakersfield, CA. Day shift and night shifts available. Hours are 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
