Champion Personnel is hiring an experienced CNC Machinist for a 2nd shift (Mon–Thu, 2:00 PM–12:30 AM) in Ohio. This DIRECT HIRE opportunity features a $24.00/hour pay and a 4-day workweek after training. Join a growing manufacturer and contribute by setting up and operating CNC machinery, reading blueprints, loading materials, and making tool changes.

Expect safe, organized work and accurate documentation. Training will occur on the 1st shift; long weekends and career growth await qualified

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC machining and setup.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret measurements.
• Proficient with calipers, micrometers and other precision tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work independently.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate CNC machinery according to production requirements
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Load materials and properly position parts for machining
• Make machine adjustments and tool changes as needed
• Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances
• Inspect completed parts to ensure they meet quality specifications
• Troubleshoot basic machining and production issues
• Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
• Keep equipment and work areas clean, organized, and safe
• Follow all company safety and quality procedures

Schedule & Training

Regular 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday 2:00 PM–12:30 AM

Training Schedule: Training will take place on 1st shift Monday–Friday 6:00 AM–2:30 PM

Pay

$24.00 per hour

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• Previous CNC machining experience
• Experience with CNC machine setup and operation preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and understand measurements and tolerances
• Comfortable using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Dependable attendance and ability to work independently
• Must be available to train on the 1st shift schedule
• Steel-toe footwear required
