Job summary

Lakeland Manufacturing in Alexandria, MN, part of Marmon Holdings backed by Berkshire Hathaway, is hiring a CNC Machinist. The role supports a four-day daylight schedule (Mon–Thu, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM) with a $3,000 sign-on bonus and pay of $23–$37 per hour based on experience.

We seek candidates with CNC experience who can set up, operate turning centers or lathes, read blueprints, adjust tooling, and maintain quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience setting up and operating CNC turning centers or lathes.
• Ability to complete machine setups, changeovers, and tooling adjustments.
• Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and machining specifications.
• Experience setting offsets and making basic CNC program edits.
• Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
• Ability to produce and inspect parts according to specified tolerances.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• CNC machining education or two or more years of related experience preferred.

Compensation

$23.00 - $37.00 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work safely around moving machinery and production equipment.
