Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Demonstrated basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Experience reading & interpreting shop blueprints and drawings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate automated CNC vertical and horizontal machines.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, setup sheets, and work instructions.
• Use calipers, micrometers, and height gauges to verify dimensions.
• Replace dull cutting tools following safety protocols.
• Monitor machines and adjust for tool wear or vibration; notify supervision as needed.
• Enter commands into CNC controls and transfer data between systems.
• Assist with inspections, housekeeping, and safety practices.
• Attend training and potential advancement to CNC Operator Level I.
