Job summary

Hexcel, a global leader in advanced composites, seeks a CNC Operator for its Pottsville, PA facility. You will operate NC machines, ensure part quality, and maintain documentation and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have a GED or High School diploma, at least six months in manufacturing, and the ability to work with PC data entry, perform audits, and support a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of six months experience in manufacturing.
• Basic working knowledge of computer data entry.
• Must follow all safety guidelines.
• Must be a capable forklift operator.
• Familiar with PC computer systems.
• Possess good organizational and administrative skills.
• Able to develop audit reports and write non-conforming records.

Responsibilities

• Operate all NC machines, including Thermwoods.
• Perform final inspection of parts, loading/unloading parts and tools.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Maintain an accurate E-log, 5-S, and housekeeping per customer requirements.
• Operate different machines as assigned on shift.
• Follow supervisor/manager guidance for department expectations.
• Support team efforts and product processes as needed.
