Job summary

CPV in Kennett Square, PA is seeking a Machine Operator to run CNC machines, read blueprints, and ensure parts meet quality standards. The role is Monday–Friday, 6:30am–3:15pm, with occasional Saturdays, in a clean, temperature-controlled shop environment that emphasizes safety and accuracy.

You will set up and operate CNC equipment, measure with micrometers and calipers, deburr and wash parts, and keep tools and machines in good condition while following OSHA rules and maintaining a safe

Qualifications

• Reads and understands blueprints.
• Operates CNC machines and records data.
• Inspects parts and makes adjustments to meet specs.
• Measures with micrometers, gauges, calipers or rulers.
• Deburrs and washes parts as needed.
• Maintains, cleans and lubricates machines.
• Follows OSHA and company safety rules.
• Keeps workspace clean and safe.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand blueprints.
• Operate CNC machines, start and monitor operations.
• Inspect parts and adjust to meet quality requirements.
• Measure completed work using micrometers and calipers.
• Deburr and wash parts as needed.
• Maintain, clean, and lubricate machines.
