Job summary

Hexcel Corporation in Pottsville, PA, is seeking a CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The role involves operating NC machines, performing final inspections, and supporting part preparation while maintaining a safe, organized work area.

The ideal candidate has at least six months of manufacturing experience, basic data entry skills, and the ability to work with forklifts and PC systems. Teamwork and adherence to quality and safety standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months experience required, preferably in manufacturing.
• Basic working knowledge of computer data entry function preferred.
• Must be able to maintain a quality delegate stamp or attain and retain a quality delegate stamp.
• Must follow all safety guidelines.
• Must be a capable forklift operator.
• Familiar with PC computer systems.
• Possess good organizational and administrative skills.
• Able to develop audit reports and write non-conforming records as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate all NC machines, including Thermwoods.
• Support all NC’s by performing the final inspection of parts.
• Loading/unloading parts and tools and part preparation.
• Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment.
• Maintain an accurate E-log, 5-S, and housekeeping to customer requirement.
• Individuals could be asked to operate different machines on their shift.
• Department or area specific expectations will be further defined by supervisor/manage.
• Individual will support team efforts and product process by performing any operation or tasks deemed necessary by customer requirements, team consensus, and/or supervisor/manager.
• Works in a team environment to reach consensus decisions within the guidelines and boundaries established by the company, and maintains constructive relationships with co-workers.
