Job summary

Scenic Industries in Chattanooga, TN, is seeking a CNC Machinist to set up, operate, and monitor 3- and 5-axis milling centers to produce tooling and mold components according to engineering drawings, models, and specifications.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years direct experience machining 3D components, tooling, molds or patterns on CNC mills and lathes.
Operate HAAS 3-axis and 5-axis vertical mills with setup and alignment.
Proficient with tool/work offsets and adjusting to specification.
Read blueprints and CAM programs; follow setup sheets and tool lists.
Maintain precision tolerances and uphold safety and housekeeping.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and monitor CNC 3D milling centers to produce tooling and mold components.
Inspect parts using measurement instruments to verify quality.
Maintain production records and support continuous improvement in the shop.
Collaborate with engineers and team members to optimize productivity and safety.
Assemble and maintain molds and tools for foundry tooling.
