Job summary

MC Molds Inc is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to operate and set up 3-axis and/or 5-axis milling centers across all shifts. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of CNC experience with Heidenhain, Fanuc, or Hurco controls and the ability to read blueprints with GD&T proficiency.

You will work closely with the programming department to determine efficient processes for mold components, download programs to controllers, and inspect parts using a range of measuring tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 full years of CNC machining experience using Heidenhain, Fanuc and/or Hurco controls.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Understanding of GD&T fundamentals.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Ability to run multiple CNC machines simultaneously.
• Experience with 3-axis and/ or 5-axis milling.

Responsibilities

• Download required CNC programs to controller.
• Set up and operate 3-axis and/or 5-axis vertical CNC milling machines.
• Create and edit CNC milling programs at the controller when needed.
• Collaborate with the CNC programming department to determine efficient processes for mold components.
• Inspect parts during and after production using measuring tools.
