Job summary

Accelera seeks a CNC Milling Specialist to produce high-precision components using 3-5 axis milling and expert machine setup.

You will read blueprints with GD&T, optimize feeds and speeds, perform multi-axis milling, and ensure ISO quality and safety. You will mentor junior operators and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years hands-on CNC machining experience.
• Proficient in reading blueprints with GD&T.
• Skilled in CNC programming using G-code and M-code.
• Ability to set up and operate 3-5 axis milling centers.
• Familiarity with tool probe systems and standard inspection practices.

• Interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings to ensure components meet exact specifications.
• Optimize machining processes by adjusting feed and speed for throughput and efficiency.

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
• Conduct quality inspections using precision gauges and document results for ISO compliance.
• Mentor and train junior operators and apprentices on machine practices and safety.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot manufacturing challenges and drive improvements.

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in CNC machining.
• Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, including GD&T.
• Advanced knowledge of CNC programming, G-code, and M-code.
• Proven ability to perform complex machine setups and operate 3-5 axis mills.
• Familiarity with tool probe systems and standard inspection practices.

Preferred Skills

• Completion of a formal apprenticeship or vocational certification in machining.
• Experience working within ISO9001 or ISO13485 regulated environments.
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to strategic departmental planning.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on team collaboration and professional communication.
