The CNC Programming Subject Matter Expert is responsible for assisting in the development of new computer aided manufacturing (CAM) technologies by serving as a go-to source of deep industry knowledge. This role is a vital part of the new start-up within our larger corporation focused on the product development process and provides the team with a resource who can help ideate new product features, test new products, and provide rapid and detailed feedback. You will also assess the quality and characteristics of historical examples of CNC activities, helping develop systems that automatically determine similar characteristics based partially on their knowledge and expertise. Success this role requires deep technical knowledge of CNC strategy and execution, super-user level expertise in CAM software, ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-discipline team, and ability to work well with others in a variety of venues spanning the shop floor to the conference room.
