Subject Matter Expert, Space Integration

Summary
T2S Solutions is currently seeking to hire a highly skilled and forward-thinking Subject Matter Expert to join our Space Integration team. This crucial role involves leveraging the expertise to integrate space capabilities with terrestrial-, air-, sea-, and high altitude-based systems owned and operated by the Department of Defense, the intelligence community, civil agencies, and commercial partners. This integration aims to provide the warfighter with seamless and timely capabilities. The Army space operations, duties, and responsibilities revolve around seven codified joint space capabilities, including space situational awareness, space control, positioning, navigation and timing, space-based intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, satellite communications, environmental monitoring, and missile warning.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with Army Futures Command leadership and industry partners to develop space integration plans that effectively support Army, Joint, and Coalition Force initiatives
• Utilize and integrate space capabilities with terrestrial, air, sea, and high altitude-based systems to enhance the overall operational effectiveness of military forces
• Develop detailed and actionable space integration plans, incorporating a deep understanding of space situational awareness, space control, positioning, navigation and timing, space-based intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, satellite communications, environmental monitoring, and missile warning
• Engage with industry and subject matter experts to seamlessly incorporate relevant technologies and capabilities into the space integration framework
• Align space integration plans with the broader objectives of Army Futures Command, fostering synergy with ongoing initiatives and contributing to future strategic goals
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to gather valuable input, validate assumptions, and refine space integration plans based on evolving needs and requirements
• Provide expert guidance on the feasibility and practicality of incorporating emerging space technologies and innovative concepts into military operations
• Ensure space integration plan adherence to established standards, compliance requirements, and rigorous safety protocols
• Collaborate with the space integration team to facilitate seamless plan execution during events and exercises
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to space integration plans, ensuring clarity and accessibility for all stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelors or advanced degree in a related field and Minimum of 8 years of experience in space operations or related field, with a focus on space integration, logistics, and military support operations
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD issued security clearance
• Strong understanding of Army, Joint, and Coalition Force requirements, with experience translating into actionable space integration plans
• Experience developing and implementing detailed space integration plans in a military or defense context
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences, including industry representatives
• Experience working with Army Futures Command or similar military innovation entities preferred
• Familiarity with Army, Joint, and Coalition Force operational procedures and protocols preferred
• Knowledge of defense sustainment frameworks and processes
