Job summary

Hexcel in Amesbury, MA is seeking a CNC Machine Operator I for the 2nd shift (3pm-11:30pm). You will operate various CNC and machine shop equipment, accurately record manufacturing data, and inspect products for defects.

You will measure parts with micrometers and gauges, perform deburring as needed, and keep the work area clean following the 5S methodology. You must read work instructions, interpret basic drawings, and comply with Amesbury Quality and EHS standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience operating industrial equipment and mechanical inclination.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions.
• Ability to read basic measurement devices and perform math equations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reading and interpreting part drawings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate various CNC and machine shop equipment.
