Job summary

Hexcel's ARC Technologies LLC, a Hexcel company, is seeking a Machine Operator I for our Amesbury, MA facility. You will set up, operate, and troubleshoot production equipment in the Filler’s department, with an hourly pay range of $23.36 to $27.76.

You will perform in-process quality checks, maintain production records, package product, and uphold a safety-first culture while working independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
• Experience operating industrial equipment and strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions.
• Read basic measurement devices and perform calculations.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Work efficiently independently and as part of a team.
• Follow all safety policies and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Setup, operate, and troubleshoot production equipment within the Filler’s department.
• Perform in-process quality control of products using various test equipment.
• Consistently achieve productivity and quality expectations within daily processing.
• Maintain electronic and written production records to track production orders, material traceability, and consumption.
• Package product and monitor the process.
• Proactively participate in a safety-first culture.
