Job summary

Volvo Group in Lexington, TN seeks a CNC Machine Operator to safely run machining equipment, verify part quality, and support continuous improvement initiatives. You will work to meet production schedules and customer requirements while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and gives preference to candidates with prior CNC or manufacturing experience. Base pay ranges from $18.38 to $22.70 per hour, with bonus eligibility where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Previous CNC machining, machine operation, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Technical or vocational training in machining, CNC technology, or a related field is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machining equipment to produce quality parts meeting production schedules and engineering specs.
• Verify quality of parts using gauges, calipers, etc.
• Notify Tool Technician of out-of-tolerance parts.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Support continuous improvement activities related to safety, quality, delivery and cost.
