Job summary

Wieland is hiring a CNC Production Operator in Lima, Ohio, to operate CNC lathes and mills, interpret prints, and meet production and quality standards. Training is provided for qualified individuals. This on-site role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with evening shifts and weekly pay.

Starting pay is $25.32 per hour, with full-time hours and on-site work at the Lima, Ohio facility. Previous CNC experience and ability to work unsupervised are valued, along with strong communication and safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; technical certificate is a plus.
• Minimum 1 year CNC experience.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Ability to comprehend verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to multitask job duties effectively and efficiently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, routers, etc.) to produce parts according to blueprints and specs.
• Set up machines by installing and aligning tools, fixtures, and materials.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished parts safely and efficiently.
• Perform basic machine adjustments and offsets to maintain part quality.
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
• Verify dimensions and surface finishes meet print or process requirements.
• Record inspection data and report deviations or defects promptly.
• Follow and maintain quality control procedures.

The CNC Production Operator will be responsible for operating CNC lathes and mills, interpreting parts prints, using manual gauging, and meeting production rates and quality standards is helpful; however, training is provided for qualified individuals. This role is located in Lima, Ohio and will be fully on-site.

Starting Pay: $25.32

Schedule: Monday - Friday 3:00PM-11:00PM (training period 7:00AM-3:00PM)

Pay Schedule: Weekly
