Job summary

Wieland Group in Lima, Ohio, is seeking a CNC Production Operator for on-site work. You will operate CNC lathes and mills, interpret blueprints, and ensure parts meet quality standards. Training is provided for qualified individuals.

Schedule: Mon-Fri 3:00 PM–11:00 PM (training 7:00 AM–3:00 PM); starting pay $25.32 per hour; pay weekly. Qualifications include a High School Diploma, 1 year CNC experience, and the ability to work unsupervised with strong communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; technical certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines to produce parts per blueprints and specs.
• Set up machines with tools, fixtures, and materials.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished parts.
• Perform basic machine adjustments and offsets.
• Inspect parts with calipers, micrometers, gauges; report deviations.

Wieland is hiring a CNC Production Operator . The CNC Production Operator will be responsible for operating CNC lathes and mills, interpreting parts prints, using manual gauging, and meeting production rates and quality standards is helpful; however, training is provided for qualified individuals. This role is located in Lima, Ohio and will be fully on-site.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, routers, etc.) to produce parts according to blueprints and specifications.
• Set up machines by installing and aligning tools, fixtures, and materials.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished parts safely and efficiently.
• Perform basic machine adjustments and offsets to maintain part quality.
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
• Verify dimensions and surface finishes meet print or process requirements.
• Record inspection data and report deviations or defects promptly.
• Follow and maintain quality control procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; technical certificate is a plus.
• Minimum 1 year CNC Experience
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Ability to comprehend verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to multitask job duties effectively and efficiently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
