Job summary

The Gund Company is seeking a CNC Machining Center Operator to support production fulfillment by fabricating parts to work orders and customer specifications. You will set up and run CNC lathes, horizontal and vertical mills, and other centers, under supervision from higher level operators.

You will follow drawings, inspect parts, maintain clean work areas, and contribute to efficiency. Overtime may be required; safety and quality standards are essential, and training is provided to expand

Qualifications

Follow written instructions and read blueprint specifications.
Work independently with minimal defects.
Communicate with supervisor on work order priority.
Open to change due to emergency orders or fabrication of parts.
Basic to intermediate math skills.
Ability to use basic measuring instruments.
Excellent problem solving skills.
Must be able to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

Operate multiple types of fabrication equipment.
Loads, operates and manufactures parts using CNC machining centers per work orders and blueprints.
Check parts for conformance to customer specifications.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow safety rules and quality standards.
Provide guidance and training to teammates as needed.
