Job summary

The Gund Company is seeking a CNC Programmer Operator I to develop, test, and optimize programs for CNC mills and lathes. You will interpret drawings, write code, and work with operations teams to ensure efficient, high-quality output in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing setting.

Must have a high school diploma or GED, with preferred vocational training and experience as a drafter or machinist. The role requires lifting up to 40 pounds and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; vocational training or related coursework preferred.
• Experience as a drafter, technician, machinist or Operator III is desirable.
• Strong math skills and ability to interpret drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and optimize CNC programs for mills and lathes.
• Set up CNC mills and lathes and run production jobs.
• Select tooling, speeds, feeds, and materials to meet specs.
• Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and quality teams to refine designs.
