Job summary

Klein Tools is hiring a CNC Machine Operator I at the Trevose, PA facility. This trainee level role operates CNC lathes or milling machines, loads materials, and ensures quality and safety standards are met in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak and understand basic English.
• Proficiency in basic math and trigonometry is required.
• Ability to communicate and work as a team member.
• Ability to use measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathes and milling machines under supervision.
• Load and unload raw materials and parts into machines.
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, gauges and micrometers.
• Compare parts to drawings to verify quality standards.
• Maintain setup and perform 5S housekeeping and safety.
• Notify supervisor if tool or machine adjustments are needed.
• Assist with deburring and secondary machining while running.
• Perform other duties as required.
