Job summary

Ampcus Inc. in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Maintenance 1 to support our maintenance team by adding and maintaining oil levels for CNC machines, performing preventative maintenance, and assisting with repairs.

The ideal candidate will have experience with lubrication, basic PM on CNCs or trucks, and the ability to read and follow instructions; duties include oil tagging, filter changes, inventory checks, and safe operation.

Qualifications

• Experience with lubrication products or oiling of machines.
• Preventative maintenance experience on CNC, machines, or trucks/automotive is helpful.
• Millwright experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Read, write, understand, and follow verbal and/or written instructions.
• Identify oil tagging information to match oil product with the label on tank.
• Change oil or air filters on machines or equipment.
• Clean out pits, oil or coolant reservoirs.
• Assist maintenance technicians with repairs of CNC machines.
• Oversee, troubleshoot, and perform preventative maintenance on lighting, heating, and cooling equipment/systems in the plant.
• Visually check and maintain inventories, oil levels in machines and an oil level log.
• Drive a golf cart or buggy.
• Maintain tools, work area, and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion.
• Abide by all company safety/health policies and regulations.
• Adapt to shifting priorities.
