Job description

We are seeking experienced Machinist with CNC & Lathe Machine operators to join a growing manufacturing facility in Kilgore, TX.

The Machinist will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC lathe machines to produce precision metal or plastic parts according to specifications. This role ensures quality production, follows safety procedures, and maintains efficiency in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to produce parts according to blueprints and specifications.

  • Read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and machining instructions.

  • Load raw materials and monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning.

  • Inspect finished parts using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure quality standards are met.

  • Adjust machine settings, tooling, and offsets as necessary to maintain accuracy and efficiency.

  • Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work area clean and organized.

  • Identify and report equipment malfunctions or production issues to supervisors.

  • Follow all company safety policies and manufacturing procedures.

  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
