Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Machine Operator in Sauk Rapids, MN. You will operate CNC machines, read blueprints, verify tolerances, and help produce precise parts with weekly pay and shift options.

Qualifications include 6 months CNC experience, a high school diploma (2-year machining degree preferred), and proficiency with CMM/GD&T/SPC. Must lift up to 25 lb and communicate in English.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of CNC machine operator experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a 2-year machining degree is preferred.
• Familiarity with CMM, GD&T, and SPC.
• Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and depth micrometers to verify specifications.
• Written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsabilités

• Observe machine operations to identify malfunctions or out‑of‑tolerance machining and adjust controls as needed.
• Read blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, and specifications to determine dimensions, tolerances, and setup requirements.
• Measure, mark, and scribe dimensions and reference points on materials or workpieces.
• Select, align, and secure fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machining equipment.
• Calculate and set machining controls for speed, feed, coolant flow, depth, and angle of cut.
• Set up and operate machines on trial runs to verify machine settings or programmed control data.
• Work with engineers, production personnel, programmers, and others to resolve machining or assembly problems.
