Job summary

OPW, a Dover Corporation manufacturing division, seeks an experienced Machine Operator to run CNC mills and lathes at our Whitsett, NC facility. You will read blueprints, inspect parts with precision gauges, and contribute to a safe, production-driven environment.

The ideal candidate has 3-5+ years of CNC experience, along with a high school diploma or trade training. You will lift up to 45 lbs and work a Friday–Sunday schedule with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Machining or trade school training preferred.
• 3-5+ years’ experience running CNC machines (milling/lathe).
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret gauges for quality checks.
• Must be able to lift 45 pounds and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and work from jobs with high accuracy.
• Load parts and operate manual and CNC mills/lathe machines.
• Perform quality checks using go/no-go gauges, calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
• Set up coolant lines, adjust feeds, and perform minor maintenance.
• Demonstrate safe deburring techniques and follow all safety procedures.
