Job summary

Airbus Aerosystems Kinston, based in Kinston, NC, is seeking a Machine Operator to join our Operations team. You will set up and operate machine tools to produce parts to exact tolerances, interpret blueprints, and ensure quality throughout the manufacturing process.

This role requires completing a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training, performing routine maintenance, and supporting continuous flow on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Must complete a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience.
• Able to interpret blueprints, sketches and engineering specifications; determine sequence of operations and setup.

Responsibilities

• Produce parts using Conventional or CNC machining, ensuring quality at all levels of operation.
• Operate multiple machines to meet engineering specifications and tolerances.
• Perform routine minor machine maintenance and housekeeping.
• Move product within manufacturing area and assist in transfer between operations.
• Train and assist teammates; MVP qualification as applicable.
• Perform other duties as required by leadership.
