Aagard is seeking a dedicated CNC Machine Operator to set up and run precision parts in a fast-paced environment. You will ensure parts meet print specifications and delivery timelines while recording run data in the ERP system.

Responsibilities include monitoring operations, adjusting processes, and identifying improvements to boost utilization and reduce cycle times. A high school diploma and 1 year machine operator experience are required, with CAD and Aagard software familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; 1 year machine operator experience or equivalent.
• Ability to view CAD drawings and use Aagard software.
• Experience or training with ERP systems and barcode scanning tools.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is helpful.
• Strong prioritization, time management, organization, proactive decision-making, and attention to detail.
• Sense of urgency and passion for excellence.
• Ability to stand or walk up to 100% of the time; lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts that meet specifications and timelines.
• Monitor machining operations and make adjustments to maintain consistent performance and throughput.
• Accurately record part movement, run time, and material usage in the ERP system.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to increase equipment utilization and reduce cycle times.
• Produce Quality Parts: verify quality by inspecting machined components against prints and specs.
• Change tooling, fixtures, and setups to maintain precision and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot machining issues promptly to prevent defects and downtime; contribute to continuous improvement.
