Job summary

Agility Recruiting LLC seeks a skilled CNC Machinist to operate and maintain CNC machines, producing precision parts per specifications. The role emphasizes reading drawings, CAM-based programming, and strict quality control to ensure consistency and accuracy in production.

You will work with mills, lathes, and other CNC equipment, performing setups, maintenance, and documentation while meeting production quotas in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on CNC operation experience.
• Proficiency reading technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong knowledge of machine tool operations and metalworking.
• Experience with precision measurement tools and quality standards.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines (mills, lathes, routers, grinders).
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAM specifications.
• Program and input cutting data, speeds, feeds, and depths of cut.
• Load workpieces and monitor operations for precision and quality.
• Measure completed parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Inspect parts for defects and ensure adherence to specs.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot machine issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
