Job summary

Aagard is seeking a dedicated CNC Machine Operator to set up and run precision parts in a fast-paced environment. You will ensure parts meet print specifications and delivery timelines while recording run data in the ERP system.

Responsibilities include monitoring operations, adjusting processes, and identifying improvements to boost utilization and reduce cycle times. A high school diploma and 1 year machine operator experience are required, with CAD and Aagard software familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to view CAD drawings and use Aagard software.
• Experience or training with ERP systems and barcode scanning tools.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is helpful.
• Strong prioritization, time management, organization, proactive decision-making, and attention to detail.
• Sense of urgency and passion for excellence.
• Ability to stand or walk up to 100% of the time; lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.

• Maintain Equipment and Safety
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and promptly report issues to ensure equipmentremainsinoptimalcondition.
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and work practices to protect yourself and your team.
  • Complete housekeeping tasks andmaintaina clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Monitor equipment performance and collaborate with team members toidentifyand address potential risks before theyimpactsafety or productivity.

Knowledge and Experience:

• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent 1 year machine operator experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
• Passion for excellence and influencing positive change
• Ability to view and understand CAD drawings and use of Aagard software
• Previousexperience working in a manufacturing environment helpful
• Familiarity with ERP systems and barcode scanning tools preferred
• Experience or training with computers and ability to learn and use Aagard specific software
• Strong prioritization, time management, organization, proactive decision-making, and attention to detail
• Sense of urgency and passion for excellence
• Ability to walk or stand up to 100 percent of the time
• Ability tolift upto 50lbs, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or climb
