Job summary

Pall Corporation, a Danaher operating company, is seeking CNC Machine Operators for on-site roles in Cortland, NY, for 2nd and 3rd shifts. You will set up, program, and operate CNC machines in a continuous production environment.

Responsibilities include following blueprints, maintaining records, troubleshooting machine issues, and ensuring quality assemblies. The role offers competitive hourly pay with a shift differential and benefits.

• 18 months+ CNC Machine Operator experience.

• Setup and operate all equipment in a related area to produce complicated components, subassemblies, and final assemblies from blueprints and work instructions, upload new programs or alterations and supply set-up sheets, deburr parts, sharpen tool and set-up tooling.
• Work under the direction of supervisors, or more experienced personnel, with little supervision.
• Maintain accurate records, and logs and collect any necessary data for use by Engineering, troubleshoot potential machine problems and recommend solutions.

The CNC Machine Operator II is responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC type or semiautomatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation.

This position reports to the Production Supervisor and is located in Cortland, NY and is anon-site role.

We are currently seeking CNC Machine Operators for both 2nd and 3rd Shift.

• 2nd Shift is Monday - Friday, 2:30PM – 10:30PM.
• 3rd Shift is Sunday - Thursday, 10:30PM – 6:30AM.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Qualifications

The essential requirements of the job include:

• High School Diploma, G.E.D. or Equivalent
• 18 months + of related CNC Machine Operator experience.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Ability to stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push, and pull for a minimum, 8 hours.
• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lbs.

The hourly range for this role is $34.39/hour-$35.43/hour. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
