Job summary

Pall Corporation in DeLand, FL is seeking a CNC Machinist to set up and operate mills, lathes, and other machining equipment in accordance with engineering drawings and schedules. You will inspect parts with calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure quality, and contribute to continuous improvement, safety, and productivity.

Typical requirements include a high school diploma or GED and experience with CNC machining, blueprints, and GD&T; knowledge of stainless steel and aerospace components is

In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment to manufacture parts in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and production schedules.
• Inspect machined components using precision measuring instruments to verify quality requirements and ensure compliance with established standards.
• Support continuous improvement, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance activities to improve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.

The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include

• High school diploma or GED and experience operating CNC machining equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), and technical specifications.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, indicators, and gauges.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements

• Ability to stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push, and pull for a minimum 8 hours per day.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials, tooling, and machined components up to 50 lbs.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Multi-axis CNC machining, CNC programming, or editing machine programs.
• Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or Danaher Business System (DBS) tools.
• Machining stainless steel, high-performance alloys, or aerospace/industrial components.
