The ideal candidate holds a relevant CNC trade qualification with at least 2 years of experience and is proficient with precision measuring tools. The role blends on-site manufacturing with planning or reporting tasks that can be done

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in CNC operation or machining
• Minimum 2 years CNC experience (lathes/mills)
• Proficiency reading blueprints/technical drawings
• Experience with CNC programming and setup desired
• Knowledge of machining materials and properties

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machinery (lathes, mills) per schedules and specs
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and CNC programs
• Perform pre-operation checks on machinery
• Load and unload materials and finished parts
• Monitor operations for quality and efficiency
• Perform quality inspections with precision tools
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and perform basic maintenance
• Maintain clean/organized work area; follow safety rules
• Document production data and QC records accurately
• Collaborate with engineering/supervision to optimize processes
