Manpower in Minnesota is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to join a leading manufacturing team focused on precision machining. You will operate CNC turning centers and mills, reading process sheets and blueprints to meet exacting specifications.

The role demands at least 1 year in manufacturing, basic math skills, and the ability to read technical drawings. Expect a stable daytime shift, safety-conscious environment, and opportunities for training and overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or related on-the-job training or experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in a factory or manufacturing.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical instructions.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC horizontal lathes, mills, or turning centers to perform machining operations.
• Read and interpret process sheets, blueprints, and sketches to determine operating requirements.
• Mount workpieces securely and start machining operations, ensuring precision and safety.
• Perform in-process inspections and spot checks to verify conformance to specifications.
• Deburr finished products, tag nonconforming materials, and move products to designated areas.
