Hickory Metal Plant is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to keep production running safely and efficiently. You will operate CNC machinery to cut and shape materials, load and inspect parts, and enter the correct programs into CNC control panels to meet daily production orders.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math (decimals & fractions).
• Basic reading and writing skills.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Manufacturing or CNC experience preferred (but not required).
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machinery to cut and shape materials based on production orders.
• Reviewing and prioritizing daily production schedules to meet deadlines.
• Loading materials and inspecting them for quality before and after processing.
• Entering the correct programs into CNC control panels.
• Performing quality checks to ensure all products meet specifications.
• Identifying and reporting any defects or production issues.
• Supporting team goals and assisting with additional tasks as needed.

What You’ll Do

As a CNC Machine Operator, you’ll play a key role in keeping production running efficiently and safely. Your day-to-day will include:

• Operating CNC machinery to cut and shape materials based on production orders

• Selecting and entering the correct programs into CNC control panels
