HSM in Hickory, NC is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to keep production running smoothly and safely. You will operate CNC machinery, review daily production schedules, load materials, and perform quality checks against specifications.

Formación

• Ability to read a tape measure and work with decimals & fractions.
• Basic reading and writing skills.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Manufacturing or CNC experience preferred (but not required).
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsabilidades

• Operate CNC machinery to cut and shape materials based on production orders.
• Review daily production schedules to meet deadlines.
• Load materials and inspect them for quality before and after processing.
• Enter correct programs into CNC control panels.
• Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
• Identify and report defects or production issues.
• Support team goals and assist with additional tasks as needed.

What You’ll Do

As a CNC Machine Operator, you’ll play a key role in keeping production running efficiently and safely. Your day-to-day will include:

• Operating CNC machinery to cut and shape materials based on production orders
• Reviewing and prioritizing daily production schedules to meet deadlines
• Loading materials and inspecting them for quality before and after processing
• Selecting and entering the correct programs into CNC control panels
• Performing quality checks to ensure all products meet specifications
• Identifying and reporting any defects or production issues
• Supporting team goals and assisting with additional tasks as needed

What You Bring
