Job summary

Fenner Precision Polymers in Manheim Township, PA, is seeking a CNC Operator to manufacture Trantorque products using CNC lathes and PLC systems. You will read work orders, set up machines, perform measurements, and ensure quality through visual inspection and proper tool changes.

AS you grow, you may advance to Operator II with exposure to additional belting lines and setups, expanding responsibilities while contributing to a safe, collaborative production environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Able to read and interpret technical documents and work orders.
• Previous CNC operating experience and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathes and PLC and/or CNC secondary machines to produce Trantorque products.
• Perform visual inspection to ensure product quality meets requirements.
• Read work orders, measure parts, adjust offsets, and change worn tools as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace using the 6S system.
• Follow ISO work instructions after training and sign-off.
• Promote safety and report unsafe conditions.
• Support internal and external customer satisfaction with adaptable priorities.

What You'll Be Doing…

As a key member of ourTrantorque Operationsteam, you will:

• Operate will manufacture quality Trantorque products by performing preset, set-up and operation of CNC lathes and PLC and/or CNC secondary machines; finish, assemble, package and perform material handling duties.
• Perform visual inspection to meet product quality requirements.
• Operate CNC Machine Cell with minimal assistance. Measure parts, make offset wear adjustments, and change worn tools (in a timely manner).
• Perform Vibratory and assembly operations with minimal assistance required to meet customer needs.
• Read and interpret work orders and comments to ensure product accuracy.
• Follow ISO work instruction standards after training and sign-off.
• Adjust equipment and processes to meet product specifications.
• Ask for help when needed to ensure successful production and minimize scrap.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace using the "6S" system.
• Embrace changes in the work environment to support internal and external customer satisfaction.
• Adapt to shifting work priorities as needed.
• Promote safety by identifying and reporting unsafe conditions.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
