Job summary

TRUMPF North America in Farmington, CT seeks a skilled LPM CNC Machinist to set up large parts, maximize machine utilization, and ensure quality weldments and machined parts.

You will read blueprints, interpret G- and M-codes, measure with gauges and micrometers, follow safety procedures, maintain a clean work area, document processes, and work effectively within a team.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience as a machinist on CNC machines.
• Ability to read and interpret complex programs, understanding the G and M codes used.
• Ability to read and understand advanced blueprints and drawings.
• Proficient use of gauges, micrometers and other inspection tools.

Requirements:

• 4 years of experience as a machinist on relevant CNC machines
• Relevant technical education is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret complex programs, understanding the G and M codes used
• Being able to make offset wear changes or zero-point shifts if required
• Being able to properly use gauges, micrometers, and other equipment necessary to measure and inspect individual work
• Being able to read and understand advanced blueprints and drawings
• Having great attention to quality
