Job summary

Swagelok’s Level II Machine Operator position offers an entry‑level machinist the chance to learn on a variety of machines in a clean, temperature‑controlled environment, with tools provided and a strong emphasis on safety. You’ll be part of a manufacturing team producing high‑quality fluid‑system components and will gain daily hands‑on experience.

You’ll learn the production system, operate equipment per standard work, inspect parts with precision tools, maintain records, and work toward

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Basic math skills including fractions and decimals.
• Self‑motivated with the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow Swagelok’s production system by starting shift and handing off reports.
• Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment according to standard work instructions.
• Follow standard work instructions and quality plans per specs.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, comparators, ring gauges, and dial indicators.
• Monitor machine outputs and identify quality, machining, tooling, and process issues; escalate as needed.
• Complete preventative maintenance and routine machine care.
• Document production activities accurately and maintain manufacturing records.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all safety procedures.
