Phillips Staffing is now hiring for a 1st Shift CNC Machine Operator for a leading manufacturer located in Liberty, SC! We are seeking motivated individuals who are able to work productively in a medium-to-fast paced environment.

Responsibilities include operating machines, loading/unloading parts, using gauges, and maintaining quality. The role requires self-motivation, teamwork, standing for long hours, and overtime as needed.

Qualificações

• Must be self-motivated.
• Must be productive with the ability to work in a team environment.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to work overtime.
• Must follow the dress code: Steel Toe, ESD shoes are required, plant wide.

Responsabilidades

• Operate all types of machines and other duties in the secondary operations department after supervisor instruction.
• Load/unload parts from machine as instructed by supervisor.
• Use gauges such as dial calipers, depth gauges, plugs and special gauges after instruction.
• Maintain awareness of quality requirements pertaining to parts and operations.
• Change cutting tools, drills, taps, end mills, etc., with minimal assistance from setup personnel.
• Perform machine adjustments with setup or supervisor's instructions.
• Recognize and report quality problems to supervisor.
• Sharpen certain cutting tools with setup personnel assistance.

Responsibilities

• This position involves operating all types of machines and other duties in the secondary operations department after his or her supervisor has provided employee with proper training or instruction.
• Load/unload parts from machine as instructed by supervisor
• Use of standard gauges, including the following: dial calipers, depth gauges, plug gauges and special gauges after instruction has been provided
• Possesses a working knowledge of quality requirements that pertain to the parts being machined and the operations being performed
• Changes cutting tools, drills, taps, end mills, etc., with minimal assistance from set up personnel.
• Able to perform machine adjustments with set up or supervisors' instructions.
• Able to recognize and report quality problems to supervisor
• Capable of sharpening certain cutting tools with set up persons assistance
