Adecco US, Inc. partners with a well-established manufacturer in the Youngstown area to hire CNC Machinists for the 2nd shift. The operation features modern equipment, overtime opportunities, and long-term career potential.

You will set up, operate, and adjust CNC machinery, inspect parts with precision tools, and read blueprints. The 2nd shift runs 4:00 PM - 2:00 AM with a shift premium and a competitive pay range. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 3+ years CNC machining experience preferred.
• Ability to perform machine setups independently.
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Strong understanding of machining practices, tooling, tolerances, speeds, and feeds.
• Experience using precision measuring tools: micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, depth micrometers, tape measures.
• Vocational machining training or apprenticeship is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and adjust CNC machining equipment.
• Work from blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to produce precision-machined components.
• Perform machine setups, tooling changes, and program adjustments as needed.
• Edit and verify existing CNC programs.
• Select proper tooling, speeds, and feeds for machining operations.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Troubleshoot machining and quality issues.
• Complete production and quality documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.

CNC Machinist - 2nd Shift

We're partnering with a well-established manufacturer in the Youngstown area that is looking to add skilled CNC Machinists to its growing team. This is an opportunity to join a stable operation with very low turnover, modern machining equipment, overtime opportunities, and long-term career potential.

The company manufactures precision-machined components used in critical industries, including power generation and mining. They are looking for machinists who understand the machining process and can contribute to quality, productivity, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

• Set up, operate, and adjust CNC machining equipment

• Work from blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to produce precision-machined components

• Perform machine setups, tooling changes, and program adjustments as needed

What We're Looking For

Pay Details
