Express Employment of West Seneca has partnered with a logistics company in the West Seneca area to fill a full-time Machine Operator role. Starting pay is $18.50- $20.50/hr for 2nd shift, Monday–Friday 3:15pm-1:45am.

The position involves maintaining and operating equipment to support efficient production in a manufacturing setting. Essential duties include monitoring equipment, setting up machines, and training junior operators, with a focus on safety and quality.

SUMMARY

Express Employment of West Seneca has partnered with a logistics company in the West Seneca area to fill an immediate need for a full-time Machine Operator. This is your opportunity to get your foot in the door with a great company that values their employees!

Starting pay is $18.50- $20.50 /hr Full time, 2nd Shift, Monday – Friday 3:15pm-1:45am

Machine Operators complete a variety of maintenance, development and operations tasks that promote the efficient production of a manufacturing plant, construction site or other professional setting.

Essential duties and responsibilities for the Machine Operator Position include:

• Monitoring and maintaining warehouse equipment and machinery


• Setting up manufacturing equipment


• Overseeing training of new or Junior Machine Operators


• Using machine equipment to complete tasks


• Performing routine inspections of manufacturing equipment


• Evaluating the efficiency of each unit regularly, identifying improvements as needed

Qualifications for the Machine Operator Position:

• Effective communication, include speaking, writing, active listening and taking instruction


• Good leadership and training skills


• Quick troubleshooting and problem-solving skills


• Advanced knowledge of following blueprints and manuals


• Excellent mechanical skills, including comfort with using tools to make simple repairs


• Great time management


• Keen attention to detail to identify maintenance, product or operations issues


• Ability to stand, sit or be in other physically demanding positions for long periods of time
