Express Employment of West Seneca has partnered with a logistics company in the West Seneca area to fill a full-time Machine Operator role. Starting pay is $18.50- $20.50/hr for 2nd shift, Monday–Friday 3:15pm-1:45am.

The position involves maintaining and operating equipment to support efficient production in a manufacturing setting. Essential duties include monitoring equipment, setting up machines, and training junior operators, with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong leadership and ability to train junior operators.
• Adept at quick troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Ability to read blueprints and manuals accurately.
• Hands-on mechanical skills with basic repairs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain warehouse equipment and machinery.
• Set up manufacturing equipment for production runs.
• Oversee training of new or junior operators.
• Operate machine equipment to complete tasks as directed.
• Perform routine inspections of manufacturing equipment.
• Evaluate unit efficiency and identify improvements.
