Job summary

SAVARD Personnel Group is hiring a CNC Machine Operator in Reno, NV. The role requires experience with CNC lathe, mill, and punch press, plus basic math and mechanical aptitude. CAMWorks programming is a plus. Training others and basic maintenance are part of the job. Shifts are Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, with a temp-to-hire path and benefits.

Salary ranges from $32 to $38 per hour depending on experience. No weekends. PTO, paid holidays, and HSA account are part of the benefits package.

Qualifications

• HS diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• CNC lathe, mill, and punch press operating experience required.
• CNC programming experience is a plus (CamWorks or manual).
• Good mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.
• Able to train others and perform basic maintenance on equipment.

Key Requirements:

• CNC Lathe, Mill, and Punch Press operating experience required


• Must have High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent work Experience


• CNC Programming experience is a plus- using Camworks or manual programming language


• Must have good mechanical aptitude


• Basic Computer Skills, Basic Math Skills, and Basic Measuring Skills


• HAAS Machine Operating experience is a plus


• Able to work with Manufacturing Engineering on parts drawings


• Ability to perform basic machine maintenance on equipment


• Ability to train others on the basic operation of equipment


• Shifts: Monday-Friday 6:00 AM- 2:30 PM
