Programs, sets up, operates, and maintains CNC equipment to produce parts in compliance with contract/customer specifications, company policies, and procedures conforming to American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) standards.

Requirements include:

• Accurate knowledge of AISC standards and procedures regarding allowable tolerances, finishes, and locations.
• Skill in machining various material types and thicknesses.
• Ability to troubleshoot, reprogram, operate, and maintain CNC controls and equipment.
• Knowledge of operation and maintenance of material handling equipment and machining tools.
• Proficiency in using accessory tools like pneumatic hand tools, standard hand tools, and measuring equipment.
• Adherence to safe work habits and practices.
• Ability to understand and follow complex blueprints, instructions, and production communications.
