Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate bending presses and heating units for hot or cold bending, forming, or offsetting.
  • Operate profile cutting machines, cranes, robotic scrap disposal systems, machining centers, and parts markers.
  • Select proper tooling according to code sheets or drawings and routing.
  • Monitor gauges and controls, making necessary adjustments.
  • Read and interpret blueprints.
  • Ensure quality work through inspections and maintain standards per blueprints and ISO specifications.
  • Communicate regularly with Design Engineers and other personnel for process improvements.
  • Troubleshoot and solve problems proactively.
  • Prioritize work and coordinate with team members.
  • Support customer needs and requests.
  • Foster a team environment and maintain good employee relationships.
  • Exhibit in-depth job knowledge and skills.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical/mechanical courses preferred.
  • 1-2 years manufacturing/production experience.
  • Ability to perform physically active tasks such as pushing, pulling, lifting, standing, bending, and twisting.
  • Safety-sensitive position.
